Scholastic Institutions

Schools from kindergarten to universities, can use our products to help protect their students and faculty.

K-12 schools – from primary and elementary to middle and high schools – should consider the inherit risks of having many active young people interacting together. Colleges and Universities face different challenges through travel and study abroad programs.

Why should you consider coverage?

At school, students may possibly experience sprained ankles, broken bones, or other injuries from gym class or playing on the playground. Away from school, students may be subjected to injuries as a result of an accident en route to or on their way home from school or after school activities. Study abroad students may also encounter new experiences that may put them at risk. Having the right insurance coverage may help.

What types of study abroad programs are eligible?

Educational institutions who are eligible for coverage may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Specialized schools, such as Montessori and Waldorf schools
  • Primary and elementary schools
  • High schools and high school exchange programs
  • Parochial and church-affiliated schools
  • Preparatory, charter and private schools
  • University sponsored programs
  • Private study abroad programs
  • Service learning programs
